Uttar Pradesh CM Mr. Yogi has asked officials to implement the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the two-day Summit held in Lucknow last week, in which 1049 MoUs were signed and an investment of Rs 4.28 lakh crore is expected. Mr. Yogi directed senior officials that all new projects should be implemented according to the States's Industrial Policy. He also stressed that officials should ensure that the entrepreneurs get all the facilities as per the policies.
He emphasized the importance of successful and timely implementation of the One District One Product (ODOP) policy. He asked concern department to link this project with the Mudra Yojana, Standup scheme and Start Up scheme and if need be provide training to the artisans under the skill development scheme.
The necessity of preparing a data base of local artisans, their produce and how that market their product is deemed important for smooth implementation. If require, provide them design facilities and other needs, he added.
